Seeing life and situation for what it is...

Which is better seeing life, person, a situation through a filter perception or through observation (wisdom)?

Living life, interacting with people, seeing a certain situation, observing some incidents and experiencing a certain situation or simply seeing through observation with one's unique wisdom.

This was an essay I prepared and shared to another site last January, 2011 and I may sound philosophical but it can be good in communication and understanding:

The calm knowing that allows us to see clearly is wisdom. It means seeing life with pure thought without the filter of our habitual thinking, for example: relationships are difficult, life is like a wheel, the truth hurts, sweet is pleasure after pain, no guts no glory, women's wagging tongues and men can be chauvinist. These habitual thoughts are discarded when you let wisdom take a role in your perceptions.

Don’t let any insecure, habitual thinking caught us up when we look through a person or a situation. When we are clouded with our own past (+ -), beliefs (+ -) , judgements (+ -), like looking through a glass of dirty water then we look through a person on a perceptual filter.

But if once in a while avoiding what should be on the world of projection or perception, but change our way of seeing into actual reality of observation. Seeing life, a person and a situation from observation with wisdom, what we see are:

* insights

* wisdom

* compassion

*understanding

This way we see life, the person and the situation: as is or what it is.

Seeing life from observation view point not the perceptual view point could calm us down and allow us to follow our heart. This does not mean we are not being objective or being emotional but simply, our thoughts, words and action is uncontaminated.

Observation in a natural way is seeing life, the person and the situation as in reality.

Many of us often go through life caught in the filter of perception that is composed of our habits of thinking: attitudes, opinions, stubbornness, past memories, judgements, close mindedness: if we always let all these affect us in a negative way then what comes out is a personal bias.

To maintain a good communication with our partners, in the line of work or with anyone: it is better to see life, someone or something by observation not by filter of perception and don’t let negative emotions grip our better judgement or decision in any matter.
